REMO DIOCESAN WOMEN ORGANISATION.

Women Organisation activities is carried our through these three major channels:
            1.         The Mothers’ Union
            2.         The Women’s Guild
            3.         The Girls’ Guild

The Mothers’ Union:  The Mothers’ Union is a Worldwide Organisation existing in the Anglican Communion.  It aimed at the advancement of the Christian religion in the sphere of Marriage and family life.
Here in Remo Diocese, the Union organises symposiums, seminars, conferences, talks and varieties of educative programmes for members’ spiritual upliftment such as:
*          Winning Souls for Christ (Prisoners)
*          Making ends meet in families
*          Settlement of rift among families which could have led to divorce.
*          Production of magazine tagged “Ewa Oluwa” (Beauty of God).
*          Enrolment of new members at Diocesan level
*          Fencing of the Women Organisation’s landed property at Oliwo Awonusi  Estate.
*          Procurement of Bus for Evangelism.
*          Waging War Against Indecent Dressing.

Remo Diocesan Women’s Guild:  This organisation comprises of all married women in the Diocese. The Guild organises a yearly programme for spiritual, moral and physical growth of her members.

Remo Diocesan Girls’ Guild: This organisation embraces all unmarried female youth in the Diocese between the ages of 4 to marriageable age (now incorporating male youths).  It is aiming at producing a Godly generation who will uphold Christ teaching and kingdom in Anglican Communion.
Some of their programmes include:
1.         Retreats
2.         Annual camp
3.         Seminars
4.         Outings
5.         Workshops and the likes for spiritual, moral and physical growth of the youths.
Their projects include:
1.         Waging War Against Indecent Dressing among youths.
2.         Redeeming lives from being drug addicts etc.
3.         Teaching and making the Girl Child aiming higher in life.
4.         Organising essay competition both at Church and Diocesan levels.
5.         Remo Diocesan Girls’ Guild uniform
6.         Talk & Seminar on “How to choose a life partner”
